We are Friends of the Tribal Society for the Help of the Distress People

A brief description about the tribal people: Men have lived in tribes since times immemorial. It is only in the last eleven thousand years that man has learnt to live in cities and towns shunning the tribal mode of life. A tribe can be described as a group of families in a clan who have a common ancestral links.
Men living in tribes have a great lot of unity amongst them because tribal life is really unique. The tribes believe in a sense of strong blood relationship. Tribal life is overwhelmingly family oriented. Having said this, it can also be said that tribal society follow a bit degenerative habits of life which in turn makes them a bit primitive by our standards. But most tribal societies are mainly matriarchal in nature. The tribal society can thus claim to be better off than us in the way they show respect towards their women.

The tribal society is a self sufficient group unlike the modern society. The mentioned society is small in scale and has a limited amount of social, economic, political and legal relations with that of the modern society. In general though there is a feeling of unity which pervades within the tribal society.
Though singing an ode to the charm of tribal society might be done but you cannot pull back from the myriad problems facing the tribal society today. The tribal society depends on the subsistence type of economy. The economy of the tribal society is not developed according to the modern society. Though it is true that modern societal changes are seeping into the tribal society, yet the tribal society remains stoic and relentless in its features.

With reservations being made in favour of the tribal sections this backward section of the society is largely isolated with little representation in the mainstream society.
There exist many voluntary organizations in the Indian society which looks after the welfare of the tribal people. As the tribal society has a distinct culture, religion and language it is difficult to persuade into getting a modern education and keep them updated with the present day technology. It is a tough job keeping their traditions intact while them a wide overview about the contemporary education. Because unless and until the outer edges of the society are educated and taken well care of the Indian society will not be said to have achieved true advancement.

Our NGO at the service of the downtrodden: We, at Friends of Tribals Society are a non profitable, nongovernmental organization which looks after the education and literacy of the backward and especially the tribal section of our society. The ngo in india came to existence in 1989. The NGO over the years spread to twenty seven branches all over the country. The NGO India looks after rural development as well.

Educating the tribal people is quite a sensitive issue. It is so because mostly the tribal people are aloof to modern day education simply because they cannot relate with the subject matter of contemporary textbooks and study materials. An interest has to be instigated among the tribal people for modern day education. Keeping this end in mind the state of Orissa has introduced education among the tribal section of the state in tribal languages. The indian ngo, Friends of Tribals Society is constantly on the lookout for improving the quality of life of the downtrodden tribal section of our society. The NGO also looks towards improving health related issues of the tribal and rural sections of our country.

The Tribal Society at a Juncture: To Move Forward or Stay Backward

An introduction to the tribal society: We have come a long since our days of early civilization. Modern India cannot think without computers and the internet, smart phones, I-pod. The aeronautics industries and space research institutes are engaged in making trips and setting up space stations in the space. We tend to look forward to different applications on our mobile phones and download different games on our computers and our mobiles.

Can the modern India think beyond the different contemporary equipments and appliances used in their day to day lives. Starting with a up to date education right from the childhood the metropolitan child goes on to earn for himself a position as a dynamic man in the society.

Yet beyond all the gloss of the city life there lurks a society which is backward, deprived of all facilities and is dipped in poverty. This society constitutes the various tribal sections in the country of India. Despite India gaining her independence for over half a century, the tribal section of our society have not been able to do away with the shackles of the society that is binding them down. There are a number of tribes across India and about 8. 14% of the total population of the country is composed of tribes and the figure of rural education is severe in respect to the population. The culture and traditions of the tribes vary from one another based on region of origin.

The tribal people are the oldest inhabitants of the country and we can say that they are forbearers of Indian culture and tradition. According to a report in 1970s, the Tribal Sub Plan or the TSP came to distribute various resources among the tribal over a period of time. It has to be mentioned here in passing that even after decades going by the Tribes Advisory Council has widely remained a consultative body rather than being a truly advisory body.

NGOs at help for the benefit of the tribes: It is at Friends of Tribal Society, a NGO in India, where we try to bring the tribal groups into the mainstream section of our society. The Friends of Tribal Society is a non- governmental and voluntary organization which basically is concerned with the education of the tribal and other rural population all over the country. We, an Indian NGO came into existence in the year 1989 at Kolkata, and gradually spread all over the country in about twenty seven locations.

It is our dream to reach every nook and corner of the country and spread the message of education among the backward section of the society.

The tribes and the backward section of the society are also benefitted by the support that we an Indian NGO provide for vocational training and thus helping them have a support system of their own. We are an Indian NGO who look into the empowerment of the society by making them conscious of their rights in the contemporary society.

Education in Rural Areas Should be Promoted

It can be seen in today’s world that people are quite invested in their own lives. These people are so busy with their own lives that they hardly have any time to spare to even think about those people who do not have the same opportunities.

Situation Today

Most of these people spend their lives without getting any kind of benefit or opportunity to a prosperous life and it can be considered that one of the most pressing matters which should be a point of concern for all the people is the world is the lack of education which is prevalent in the backward areas of society.
In a country as large and diverse as India, it can be seen very commonly that people are spending their entire lives as destitute. This kind of a sight is very difficult to see in today’s modern world as donate India.

Donations are Necessary

When people look at the different privileged sections of society and the ease in which they live their lives, it become very difficult to comprehend as to how there can be such a stark difference between the upper and lower classes and society. For all of those people who have a fruitful and prosperous life, one of the best ways in which these people can give back to the society and thereby fulfil the most basic calling of being a responsible human being is if these people donate to ngo.
These people need to do their part and make donation India. One cannot be considered to be a completely responsible citizen if he or she does not spare a thought for the needy. Donation India is extremely necessary for providing these people with a fair chance of getting ahead in the world. There are some people who always donate to ngo and thereby do their part in trying to work towards the upliftment of those people who are in need of donation education.
Rural education has to be supported There are many rural areas where people do not get some of the most basic necessities which are required by all individuals. In these areas, people do not even expect to ever be able to exact any kind of education and hence have to live their lives in a deprived state of living. The right to education is not reserved for the privileged classes. This kind of mentality needs to be instilled in all of the citizens in India.
There should be more rural schools in the many rural areas in India. This kind of initiative can only be taken by the government but it can most commonly be seen that the government is mostly invested in the modernisation of the state which keeps these rural areas out of the equation.
In such cases, there are many NGOs which take it upon themselves to set up rural schools and support donation education for those people who cannot afford to acquire a proper education. These people deserve the chance at a better life and it is only the privileged people who can make a difference.
Education in rural areas is a pressing issue in countries such as India. The government and other ngos india should make sure that these people receive more benefits in the form of rural education.

Entering the Nights and Days of NGO and Their Service to the Mankind

Outline of a NGO: The term NGO stands for Non Governmental Organization. An NGO wants to attain sustainable development for a certain section of people. Likeminded people who put their heart and soul into the cause of serving people come together in an NGO putting their passion of serving mankind first before any other aims. It uplifts the whole standard of people in its locality. An NGO is not liable to pay taxes. Any individual’s contribution towards any NGO will be exempted from tax. The NGOs are not funded by the government.

It should be kept in mind that setting up an NGO is a prolonged process. Firstly it has to be started as a concern formally by credible paperwork deposited to the the local government body. Afterwards it should perform the task of channeling and networking with the sponsers in the correct way.

There is a list of expertise which should be possessed by an indian ngo . They are that of bringing a community together. Secondly it is that of data collection of the particular community it is working for. Moreover the NGO should have refined business skills and should bring itself to the forefront with the help of the media.

We have arrived: We as a NGO exist as Friends of Tribal’s Society. Thus our work is more streamlined and thus we stand beside the tribal section of the society. We are a transparent and and answerable organization. The Friends of Tribal society is a self help group and is committed to the benefit of the tribal and backward section of the society.

Our NGO imparts basic education to the tribal children simultaneously giving lessons to the villagers on health care and the development mantra. We, at Friends of Tribal Society staunchly believe that India will flourish only when the tribal section of the society prosper. We an ngos india organisation vanyatras quite regularly with the purpose of gelling with the tribes with their surroundings really well. We will be highly obliged if you intend to work as a volunteer with us.

The organization of Friends of Tribal society was established in January 15, 1989 and has twenty seven branches all over the country of India. Some of our branches are located in Delhi, Patna, Agra, Jaipur in the north and Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Kochi in the south.

With us you can donate wholeheartedly either providing generously for the education of a single child throughout the year. You can also donate to a school for a year. Our organization has started the concept of seva patra in which you can donate your money in small amounts.

Our organization of Friends of Tribal Society also participates in the NGO India exhibition and conference and together with showcasing our achievements; we also absorb the policies made by the government and corporate bodies.

NGOs are in dire requirement today because of the unequal distribution of resources on the part of the government. Thus to even out the differences the NGOs work as a balancing factor. The gap that is left there due to the flaws in policy making are wonderfully filled up by the NGOs.

We, at Friends of Tribal’s Society work night and day to achieve what we have set out for in the first place ---- to serve mankind.

NGO and Tribal People in India

Education means processing of knowledge, motivation and creativity with proper application of our inner thoughts. Our basic education starts from our home. Schooling is another important phase for every human being. From school we take the basic knowledge of education that means sincerity, morals of morality, power of divinity and implies honesty of character. Mainly school provides a moral education. But what is moral education? Moral education is the full of good behavior and values. It is universally true that our schooling is the moral enterprise. It teaches us to build our morality in a good manner. So education is one of the main criteria of every human being. But our education system needs to be changed and reformed. Mainly Indian education system based on theoretical knowledge but not practical.

Most of the students are eager to pass the exam. Children are like a sapling. When they enter into school. They face different atmosphere. So teacher should teach them as their own child. Most of the teacher should nourish their childhood. Apart from education there are two important factors which are very much important in every human life like food and shelter. Mainly food style depends on three different factors like life style, income and the social structure. Most of the Indian people are belong to very much lower middle class family. Population and food crisis are very much interrelated. Land fragmentation also affects the food production. In many countries food crisis and population pressure are two very much important factor. In India it is also common factor. Poverty is another big issue in India. Agriculture in India has significant history. But insufficient investment and real estate property are two major issues for cultivation in India. India is the largest producer of milk, fruits, cashew nuts, coconuts, tea in the world. There are different types of agriculture occur in India like Commercial agriculture, Dry framing, Plantation agriculture, Intensive framing.

Proper education is an important factor in the process of development. But tribal development is another major challenge for our policy makers. They are suffering from poverty, education. Due to their socio – economic structure and ecological consumption most of the tribal people face lots of problem. So in tribal locality some Indian NGO is very much involved for their development. But most of the tribal student could not communicate with other territory for their prejudice though teachers in affluent society and poor areas could be poor for their performance. Most of the teachers don’t like this tribal people. So there is little bit of communication occurs. Education is the platform for better life as well as better parson too. Most of the students come from very interior locality. So some NGO provide bicycle for better opportunity of tribal education.

The Indian NGO is very much confronted with many different wants of both the adult and the child population. NGO in India is very much important link between tribal people and civil society. They are very much involved in women’s employment, education, de-addiction, removal of superstitions. For better development of tribal people everybody have to donate to NGO. It is our moral responsibility to save our tribal people.
